Together Well
Sharing countless ways the COVID-19 pandemic impacts our lives
We’ve partnered with the RELATE Lab to document and share stories of the countless ways that COVID-19 has impacted our lives. We want to listen, absorb, and be moved to action by narratives of illness and wellness – the good, the bad, and the unexpected. We want to use these stories to help co-create a better healthcare system that places greater value on connection, relationships, and wellness.
There are several ways to be involved with Together Well. Please join us!
Submit existing writing about COVID-19
If you’re in the greater Northwest region and have written about how your health and wellness have been interrupted or impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, we’d love to read your work. It can take any form, be any length, and be in any stage of development. If it's your authentic story, we want to read it.
Create new work about COVID-19
We’ll be hosting writing workshops periodically that focus on stories from the COVID-19 pandemic. There you can continue work on writing-in-progress OR start from scratch with new prompts and ideas. At the end of the workshop you will have a first draft of something to share with the Together Well team. This session will look similar to our typical Community of Practice sessions with more dedicated time to write and give/get feedback. Check out our Community of Practice pages to register for upcoming workshops.
Support your fellow writers
We’re looking for a small group of individuals to help NWNMC spearhead a supportive revision process for stories submitted to the Together Well project. If you have wanted to get more involved in NWNMC, now is a great time. We are particularly interested in finding people with editing and coaching skills. If you are available to help us explore and navigate this process as part of the Together Well team, please let us know! Contact us and put “Together Well” in the subject line.
