Join the Northwest Narrative Medicine Collaborative on Monday, March 2 for “The Interstitium: Stories of Illness, Wellness, & Beyond,” a recurring storytelling event that invites many voices from our community to articulate the ways in which health and illness shape how we live. This show’s theme is “A Fresh Start,” a pick-me-up performance designed to explore some of the questions health and illness invites us to consider, and all of the ways we can choose to answer.
We welcome patients, health professionals, caregivers, and everyone in between to explore the ways that health and illness define who we are and how we live.
We believe that hearing stories from all sides of the exam table is an empowering act of perspective-taking that can heal us all.
Facilitators
The Interstitium is the brainchild of Ben Colburn (current OHSU Family Medicine resident) and NWNMC, who seek to unite all who navigate healthcare, through the dynamic intersection of deep telling, deep listening, and sharing of complex human experiences.
